Purpose
To support the recruitment, preparation, placement, and induction of DeLeT (Day school Leadership through Teaching) cohorts of 10-12 fellows to become Jewish day school teacher-leaders and to further professionalize day school teaching, as well as the provision of professional development for DeLeT mentors. Funding is also provided for the provision of induction support and research activities. Participants in Brandeis DeLeT earn an MAT degree as well as a Massachusetts state teacher licensure with reciprocal privileges in 45 states.
