Purpose
To support the continuation of a Foundation-initiated pilot project led by Gather Consulting and Conscious Builders to develop a new scalable framework for offering professional development to Jewish leaders and educators. Previous grants to UpStart included general operating support and supported UpStart’s engagement in renewed strategic planning and continued programmatic experimentation, along with implementation of UpStart’s three-year strategic growth plan to provide the field with a full-service incubator and accelerator intermediary serving Jewish social entrepreneurs and innovators as they launch experimental new organizations and initiatives for the Jewish community.
