The Jewish Education Project

Total Awarded

$10,361,070

Purpose

One new grant is for general operating and capacity building support of The Jewish Education Project. A second new grant is for the RootOne Initiative, designed to invest in RootOne’s capacity and growth as it increases the annual number of teens participating in immersive Israel travel and pre-trip and post-trip engagement from 4,000 in 2021 to 10,000 in 2025.Previous grants supported capacity building to help The Jewish Education Project build the capacity of its professional team. This is part of broader capacity building efforts that TJEP will undertake to position itself to implement the strategic growth plans it developed in 2018, which the Foundation previously supported.
