Purpose

To support research overseen by CASJE on the pipeline and career arc of Jewish educators to study the emerging trends, successful models and programs, and challenges and needs in the field of Jewish educator training. This research will provide the Foundation and the field with current analyses of educators and the landscapes in which they work, estimates of the numbers of educators who are working in different roles, their backgrounds and interests, skills, training, rates of retention, the influence of key educator training interventions, organizations’ current and future needs for Jewish educators, and the role of training programs.
